Patience [Ash Ketchum x Reader]

You giggled softly at your friend who received yet another flamethrower to the face by his Charizard.

"Gah! Charizard why won't you listen to me?" He yelled at his flaming companion, who just looked walked away from him.

"Ash." You said softly walking over to him "I'm pretty sure he won't listen to you because you're so impatient."

He looked at you for a moment, shocked at what you said to him. "I'm not impatient [Y/N]! Charizard just doesn't wanna listen to me!" He argued.

You shook your head, indicating a 'no' to the stubborn boy and walked over to his Charizard.

"[Y/N], what are you doing?!" Ash asked concerned.

"Just watch." You said softly, sending him a reassuring smile as well.

Focusing your attention back on Charizard, you looked up at him while he looked down at you.

"Charizard, could you use flamethrower for me please?" You asked nicely to the fire type pokémon.

After about a minute or two of Charizard just looking at you, he craned his neck upward and let out flames. Ash watched astonished. How had you done that?

Once Charizard was done, you smiled at him sending a thanks.

Walking over to Ash's shocked form, you kissed his cheek. "That's how you get pokémon to listen to you Ash."

He blushed slightly and embarrassingly looked away. "Yeah, I'll uh be patient next time."

Giggling slightly, you walked over to where you were before. "Sure, you will Ash."
